Die Liste is a handwritten, ten meter long list of 33305 people who have died trying to access Europe.
The information is as detailed as I was able with the location and circumstance of death, where possible.
It unfolds in waves, floating accross the floor - it is miinimal in its display from a distance - though this changes when a line is read.
Each line contains approximately three stories - each essentially telling a tale of hope, adventure and then ultimately tragidy. On reading it suddenly becomes huge, a sea of too much information - an analogy for our very real, human inability to be able to deal with this sort of volume and intensity of information.
